Personal Summary

Meyer Grumet has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, focusing on the design and development of multi-currency securities processing, trading and custody systems.

As a co-founder of Cambridge Technology Group, he developed a multi-currency accounting software package that was successfully installed at financial institutions in the US and abroad.  Before starting his own company, Meyer worked as Vice President at Chase Manhattan Bank, responsible for the development of foreign exchange trading and settlement systems, and has held senior positions with a variety of vendors in the securities and financial services sector.

Meyer received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Brooklyn College and his Master of Science degree in Operations Research from New York University.  He has published articles in industry journals and has been a speaker at several conferences in the US and overseas, including Financial Publishing International Ltd London, Global Custody Review (GCR) London, International Custody and Fund Administration (ICFA) and International Securities Industry Practitioners Symposium (ISIPS) London.

In addition, Meyer has taught classes at Securities Operations Forum and has been an adjunct lecturer at Baruch College, City University of NY, Department of Statistics.

Meyer is currently an independent consultant working on capital markets, global custody and asset management systems.  He has done work for several financial services organizations, including Pershing, Bank of NY, Barclays Bank, Mitsubishi Trust, Citibank and NY Life Investments.
