leah is buying curtains for her bedroom window. she wants the curtains to hang from the top of the window to the floor. the window is 4 feet high. the bottom of the window 2 1/2 feet above the floor. what curtain length should leah buy?
So the top of the window is 4 ft and the bottom is 2 1/2 feet up. Added together, from the floor to the top of the window the distance is 4 + 2 1/2 = 6 1/2 ft. and thats how long the curtain should be!
