a salad made for three people uses one head of lettuce, 3 tomatoes, and 6 mushrooms. If the same ratios is used in a salad for ten people how many heads of lettuce are needed?

Technically, you would need 3/1/3 heads of lettuce, but in reallity, you would need 4 heads of lettuce.

3 people = 1 lettuce  6 people = 2 lettuce   9 people = 3 lettuce

10 people = 4 lettuce
