Chargaff's base pairing
According to chargaff's base pairing rules which is also known as complementary pairing rule states that the base pairs in DNA are ( A-T) and ( C-G ), therefore the percentage of Adenine is almost equal to the percentage of thymine, while the percentage of cytosine in a DNA sample is almost the same as the percentage of guanine in a DNA sample.
Hence we can conclude that the percentages of Adenine are equal to those of thymine and the percentages of Cytosine are equal to guanine
