PLEASE HELP ASAP! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
A mountain climber exerts 41,ooo J of work to climb a cliff. How much power does the climber need if she wants to finish in only 500 seconds? power=work/time

41, 500 Watts

82 Watts

20,500,000 Watts

0.0122 Watts

And could you please show me how to do it thanks : )

Respuesta :

As we know that power is defined as rate of work done

so we can say

[tex]P = \frac{W}{t}[/tex]

here we have

Work(W) = 41,000 J

also we know that time taken to complete this work is

time (t) = 500 s

so we have

[tex]P = \frac{W}{t}[/tex]

[tex]P = \frac{41000}{500}[/tex]

[tex]P = 82 W[/tex]

so power will be 82 Watt
