Nathanial Klietman who know as the father of sleep research. Klietman and his one of students research rapid eye movement (REMs). It is the process of constant revolving eyeballs of a person that indicates the person is dreaming. Even he finds out that the person who woke up during the REMS sleep cycle can recall his dreams and those who do not wake up in a REM cycle do no recall their dream. In another research, Kleitman purposed that certain types of motion in eyeball would recall some type of movement in dreams. Among many myths, Kleitman dispersed the approach that babies needed 22 to23 hours to sleep but he found that 15 hours are also normal. Kleitman's discoveries were not so beneficial. In 1950 again he did an experiment on the soldier and one of them awake himself up 180 hours. At this point, one can confess anything just to allowed him to sleep.
