Answer:
How children are quickly forced to leave childhood behind and become men because of the social and political situation in which they are commonly involded is one of the main ideas developed in Johnny Tremain.
Particularly, Johnny must leave his childhood worries to enter a patriotic world of spionage and complicated situations in which he must fight for his own security and independence.
This itself is an interesting topic to address because despite the fact that nowadays we no longer are directly involved with war children still face situations that require maturity and responsability and forces them to transition in a rapidly manner from boys to adults as society's expectations demand.
Another element we must highlight is the revolution itself, the independence of British power. The author repeatedly attempts to portray the mother ideology of the story which is the equality that is desired to reach for all men. This is not only an interesting concept but also quite an inspiration as it highlights the importance to have a clear goal and set aside the differences to gather efforts.
