Why is BTS (the biggest boy band in the world) disbanding in 2020 because of military? Is it obligatory or what? Please fellow ARMY, I need help.

Jimin, Jungkook, Kim Taehyung, Min Yoogi, RM, Jin, and J-Hope cannot right now because of this pandemic. This question may have been questioned last year, but they are not, after their new album: Map of the Soul 7. They may later on, but not now, through this pandemic.
