Salary yes, but you have to take in consideration how much you will be working. Let me show you an example:

If a doctor is earning 400k a year, but he is working 18 hour shifts for 3-4 days straight.

The quality of work is much more determined to justify the pay. Look up what a typical veterinarian does, and you’ll see if the salary per quality-dollar price is justifiable.

It depends on you. Personally, that's the career that I want to pursue after high school due to my love for animals and because I have helped treat injuries before.  $88,000 for me personally is more than enough to live a suitable and comfortable life. Most veterinarians make between 90k to 100k, which isn't bad at all in my opinion, but in the end it depends on you and the goals you have for your future, like buying a house, a car, and having kids.
