Technically true for the sum of all water on the planet too, but fresh water gets renewed by cyclical processes in nature.
and solar energy (and trees for that matter) are also just renewed from our earthly perspective of space and time. stars do nuclear fusion, and this is a one-way process, single use basically.
so nothing is truly renewable, but we can't use up some things and get new supply for any given time, at least in time spans we can grasp.
