Answer:
The air was cool and crisp this morning, a slight breeze shivered through the atmosphere as Susan walked down the concrete sidewalk. She had a light purple jacket clasped around her as her footsteps echoed down the abandoned street. Nobody ever came out this early in the morning, but she didn’t mind. Instead, Susan preferred having a bit of quiet time to herself before truly starting the day.
“Uhm, excuse me miss but I think I may be lost, I’m new here…” said a stranger chuckling nervously, as he walked up to Susan.
She must’ve been daydreaming as she didn’t notice this man until he had just walked up, “Of course, let's see... this is West Lang’s street, do you mind if I ask where you’re going?” she inquired, studying the man for a moment.
“I’m a new employee at Jepson’s Law Firm, I was just taking a morning walk to find where everything was, and then I went and got myself lost.” He smiled embarrassed, scratching the back of his head as he grinned awkwardly.
“Ahh, no way, I work there too. I heard we were getting a new lawyer soon, funny we should meet. If you wanna get to the Firm from here just take a left on Virginia Lane and it’ll be up there to your right.” Susan nodded.
“Well thanks for all your help, so glad I get to meet a friendly face before going into my first day of work. Guess we’ll be seeing each other again, oh and my name’s Mark.” he finally said, giving her a nod before jogging off in the direction she had specified.
