8.) Wilson's Fourteen points will stand as the most powerful expression of idealism, although his fourteen points were a complete failure. The treaty was more powerful, as it ended world war I and forced German to disarm and pay reparations to certain countries.
9.) Although the treaty did make German lose it's standing military, nobody was watching the germans. No one had any idea what they were planning for the future (world war II). The treaty should have put them under some supervision to avoid another war, instead, they trusted the germans to listen and it ended terribly
10.) The allies could not agree from the start on how to treat Germany, dooming them for another war in the near future. Putting all the blame on one country and expecting them to be okay with it, is absurd. This angered the German country and fueled their flame for revenge in the near future.
