Respuesta :
Proton and neutron particles are fond in the nucleus of an argon atom, with the electrons orbiting around it.
An atom is the smallest indivisible particle of matter from which all things spring up.An atom is made up of a nucleus which is positively charged comprising of neutron and proton , and the electron which is negatively charged orbiting around the nucleus.Because of the balance of the negatively charged electrons and positively charged protons, the structure of the atom is maintained and balanced.
We can therefore say that An argon atom will contain 18 protons and 22 netrons inside the nucleus and 18 electrons orbiting around the nucleus.
This is because the atomic number is the name as the proton number which is 18( positively charged)
electrons have same number as protons except that they are negatively charged. (18)
Proton +Neutron =Mass number
18+N =39.948≈40
40-18=22
Thus the particles are found in the nucleus of an argon atom are Proton and neutron with 18 and 22 nmbers respectively.
