Preconventional level will decide what is wrong or right by punishment and rewards. Conventional level will decide what is wrong or right by others approval or disapproval or by society’s rules and laws. Lastly, the Postconventional Level will decide what is right or wrong by society’s rules which are viewed as fallibe rather than absolute or ethical principles.
