Answer
The French were less interested in occupying territories
Explanation
The English were a group of people called or also known as Anglo-Saxons. They were closely related Germanic tribes that began migrating to the eastern and southern Great Britain. Their exploration hoped for riches and power. They continued to settle in most of the area between the Spanish Florida and the French Canada. and because the Spanish colonies were doing so well, other European countries also wanted to explore the new lands for riches and gold thus they were much interested in occupying more territories.
The french exploration started in the early 16th century . This was when the french joined the exploration race of the New World for the purposes of exploiting the resources of the western Hemisphere. unlike the English the French were less interested in occupying territories
