Vita has a piece of ribbon that is 5 meters long. She cuts the ribbon into pieces that are each 1/3 meter long. How many pieces does she cut?

so this is clearly a division problem

the equation will be

5 ÷1/3     Keep switch flip

according to KSF the equation will change to this

5*3  = 15

So she will be able to cut 15 peices.
