How many ohms of resistance must be present in a circuit that has 120 volts and a current of 10 amps

Respuesta :

The formula is V= I x R

I being the current and R being the resistance. V being the voltage.

So 120= 10xR

120/10 = R

R= 12

Hope this helped!
Ohm's law states that the current through a conductor between two points is directly proportional to the voltage across the two points. Mathematically given by, R = V/I = 120/10 = 12 ohms or Ω.
