Mental health consists of our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It influences how we think, feel, and act.
It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Mental health is vital at each stage of life, from childhood and childhood via adulthood.
Positive stressors (called eustress) may consist of an upcoming wedding, the holidays, or pregnancy. On the other hand, terrible stress (called distress) results in the full-blown stress response. If continuous, poor stress can lead to loss of productivity, health problems, and exhaustion.
