Why was the battle of bull run fought in Virginia? Was it a strategic location? Or was it just a coincidence?

Respuesta :

It was a strategic location, and the Union had a diversion at Bull Run, and most of the Union men were at Matthew's Hill, yet, the Confederate's knew this, and cut them off, winning the battle, ending the Union's hopes for a quick end to the war.
