Emily has 2 cookies and her 3 friends each give her 2 more. How many cookies does Emily have. 7th GRADE MATH PLZ HELP!!!!!

7 is the correct answer
okay so she had two cookies to start out with  then you take 3 friends and  and they all thee gave two cookies so 2 times 3 = 6 cookies that her friends gave to her then you take 6 cookies and add 2 which equals  8 cookies
