The Mau Mau Rebellion was one of the largest rebellions in the history of Kenya wherein the Kenyan rebels revolted against the authority of the British Empire. In addition, the rebellion was spearheaded by leader Dedan Kimathi wherein he eventually was made a national hero among the Kenyan people.
