The trade route known as silk road originated in the Chinese Empire. Option B is correct.

Silk Road, also refered to as Silk Route, ancient trade route, connected China with the West, and carried goods and ideas between the two great civilizations of Rome and China. It was established when the Han Dynasty in China (which ruled China from 206 B.C. to 220 A.D) officially opened trade with the West in 130 B.C., and remained  in use until 1453 A.D., when the Ottoman Empire boycotted trade with China and closed them.
