1. Malnutrition. This is extremely common in families and especially children in poverty. Malnutrition effects mental and physical health, like a healthy immune system to prevent disease, using food for energy, and other serious effects.
2. General Health. Disease is especially common within poor people because they are unable to afford insurance, health services, vaccines, and health treatments to mental, terminal, and other issues.
3. The Economy. Employment rates and less education mean that these people are unlikely to find a paying job or living wage. Many of these people are not able to get a job at all.
